If you're waiting around for the big name cosmetic companies to get around to producing skincare cosmetics that really work, you might not want to hold your breath. As for products to help those with aging skincare issues - well, you need to stop waiting too, as you're just going to get older doing so.
Here's the rub... It has more to do with economics and less to do with skincare cosmetics. You see the majority of the skincare cosmetics that are currently available lack quality ingredients. The available products are most likely horribly ineffective and have ingredients that are detrimental to your overall good health.
Your average anti aging skincare products are loaded with inexpensive ingredients that not only have little or no positive value but may actually be harmful to your long term health. Many of the chemicals that are widely used in skincare cosmetics have been shown to cause cancer.
Why are these types of ingredients allowed to be used in skincare cosmetics is a good question. It appears, and I'm only guessing here, that since these products are applied topically, the Food and Drug Administration doesn't consider them a health hazard.
I guess the Food and Drug Administration didn't get the memo about skin being porous.
Anti aging skincare does not necessarily have to be like this, because there are safe and effective natural ingredients that are available to these companies. The reason that the vast majority of the companies don't use them is due to the fact that natural ingredients cost more to process than simple chemicals do.
It's sad that the giants of skincare cosmetics industry think so little of their customers that they prefer to use cheap, dangerous ingredients rather than spend a couple extra dollars on safe, healthy ingredients. But, as long as there are consumers purchasing these products, they'll continue to be made available.
Unfortunately, what you don't know, can hurt you!
It would be better for you to stop taking your business to these large scale companies, and begin buying your anti aging skincare from a company that cares about the quality and safety of their products. The companies that are producing the highest quality products are ones that you have probably never heard of.
